Sirin Labs has just announced their latest mobile phone, it’s not cheap though. Coming in at $14,000 it certainly isn’t one of the best mobile deals around at the moment. It is a very impressive phone though, designed for high corporate business people who need to keep their messages private. Apparently the phone is making the most of the same encryption technology that the US military uses.
The phone comes with 128GB of storage and has a switch on the back that enables the high security mode. Fingerprint sensors also help keep this unit locked up tight. Italian leather cases the phone and gives it a sleek design and finish.
Hardware rise, it’s nothing better than the new Samsung galaxy S7 coming out later this year. Apart from the encryption technology and storage size, the galaxy is actually better on paper. Sirin labs wins with the camera though, with the main camera boasting an impressive 23.8 megapixel camera which will deliver super high res images.
The price tag is a hefty one, it’s not the best mobile deals around, but with extremely sensitive information on the phones of the business leaders of the world, I imagine they will gladly pay that. After all, what’s 14 grand against the company’s portfolio performances? Imagine what might happen if a highly classified trading paper is released to traders before it should be? Not only is that illegal but could cause a trading frenzy, which in extreme circumstances might lead to a new recession.
It certainly isn’t aimed at the average consumer, but when information can change the world like it does, there is no price on security. I would still rather have the new galaxy s7 though! Secret encryption services or not!
